Volunteering is a fantastic way to contribute to your community, meet new people and discover new skills. We encourage all our young fencers to be involved in their communities and the ActiFence community.

Our Promise To You

For the time and energy you put in return we will help develop your skills

  • through mentoring
  • attending specialised courses
  • First Aid
  • Child Protection
  • Coaching courses

So that when you go to university or apply for jobs you have additional skills to offer. Maybe one day you can run your own fencing sessions too and help more kids #GetActive and #BeInvolved.

Lorna's in High school and has been helping ActiFence get off the ground for a year now.

She has helped out at summer camps and have-a-go session and is an invaluable member of our team.

So far Lorna's completed her First Aid & Child Protection courses. She is currently working on her coaching qualifications.

A keen and internationally competitive foilist, Alastair loves sharing his knowledge and experience of fencing with others.

He was and is our first volunteer of the ActiFence Family and gained his Level 1 coaching qualification with the support of Actifence. Alastair has also completed his First Aid & Child Protection courses with us.

If you'd like to join the ActiFence Team we'd love to hear from you.

Please send us an email with a little about you and why you'd like to help out.
